Wednesdays from 10 -2 will be Sit ‘n Sew.  Bring your favorite UFO or one that has had you stumped

Beginning Quilting—Lets get started with the basics.  We will be making a five block sampler.  This class will begin with discussion of fabrics, tools and safety and progress through six blocks and an appliqué lesson.  This will be a strictly entry level class for true beginners, however, anyone will be welcome to join us if you’d just like to brush up or enjoy the company to sew.  Each class will be $10. and will include a kit for that day’s block.  You may attend as many or as few of these classes as you like but registration is required at least one week in advance and our refund policy will apply.

Beginner’s classes will reoccur every four months.  Upcoming Sessions will be:

Spring Session: Wednesdays May 19^th, 26^th, June 2^nd, 9^th, 16^th, & 23^rd. -  12:30 - 3:30

Fall Session:  Saturdays September 11^th, 18^th, 25^th, October 2^nd, 9^th, & 23^rd.

All Ten dollar Tuesdays begin at 10 am and are $10

Quilt-as-you-go Table runner or Placemat.  –  A highly functional, practical, and beautiful project for you to make in two class sessions.  An original pattern this class will be taught by the creator – Joyce Waterman.  Wednesdays March 17^th and 31^st 1pm- 4pm. $12 plus pattern and fabric.

 

Butterfly Garden Jelly Roll QuiltW/ Applique’ – A Beautiful butterfly and flowers on your Kansas Troubles Quilt.  Tuesdays April 13^th & 27^th 12:30 – 3:30

 

Quilt –as-you- go Quartet Table Runner, Tulip Tango –  A fun project and great technique to learn , anther fabulous project from GE Designs, fresh for spring in blue and yellow with appliqué tulips – 1pm– 4pm , April 14^th & 28^th

 

Bargello Jacket – A new classic Favorite- Fridays -April 23^rd, 30^th, & May 7^th.  Only two spaces left!

 

Joyce Waterman Show- Saturday May 15^th 10- 2pm Joyce  will be here to show you some wonderful things! Including her brand new book. Come get your copy siogned by the author!

 

Changing Seasons Versatile Table runner -  Kansas Troubles braid table runner with a changing seasonal center piece.  5 Sessions, first class we will make the runner next classes we will construct the seasonal changing center pieces. Free class with purchase of kit. Taught by Rita.  Wednesdays – June 9^th, 16^th, 23^rd, 30^th.  1pm-4pm

We are here to help you.  Do not allow uncertainty about picking out fabrics or sewing skills stop you from taking a class.  Our goal is to help you be successful.  If you are not successful, we are not successful!

 

Please be aware that all these classes and more are available for off-site workshops or for your group to make when you reserve class space in the shop.

 

A supply list will be offered for each class at the time of enrollment.

 

Enrollment in any class comes with either prepayment or fabric purchase.  No refund will be given if you fail to cancel in less than seven days. If you fail to call and cancel a class you will be charged a no-show fee.   We ask that enrollment in classes take place at least one week prior to the class in order for us to prepare kits or other items needed.
